Melony Harris, CFP®, CPA, MBA
Melony is dedicated to developing lasting relationships with all her clients. As an investment advisor, she has the client’s best interest in mind and her objective is to help you assess your financial goals and participate in the management of your finances. Educating clients is key in her process, and she believes that by empowering the client they will reach better conclusions together.
Melony’s forte is financial planning with a tax strategy. She specializes in retirement income planning, portfolio management, and tax plans. She will work in concert with you to build an investment plan tailored to you. Through her broker/dealer relationship with Commonwealth Financial Network®, she has the resource network available to support your goals.
A licensed CPA, Melony graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and earned an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver. She holds the FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 65 (Investment Advisors Law Exam) securities registrations, as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification. She is also a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association.
As a Rotary Club of Littleton member, she is actively involved in the community, supporting projects locally as well as abroad. During a trip to rural Kenya, she worked on the Sasa Harambee project dedicated to organic agriculture. She helped raise funds to build a barn for storing crops while awaiting sales.
The position of women in the financial world has piqued Melony’s interest in recent years. She believes in empowering her clients by educating, informing, and helping them with their financial health, which benefits not only their future but the future of their families. For women the goal is bigger than money—it’s about gaining a better sense of self, finding the path to a secure future, and claiming their financial power.
In her personal time, Melony enjoys skiing, golf, hiking, reading, and the various service projects the Littleton Rotary Group engages in.
